Terms of Design

Revisions & Proofs

We offer a generous number of revisions however, should the number of revisions become excessive, we may email you and advise they will incur additional fees.
Once your design is finalised and sent to you, any changes you request are subject to additional fees.
Chanteligence is not liable for any photos or design elements provided by clients. Please be sure to have permission before submitting any elements or photography to use in your design. Any images you would like to use in your design project must be sent to Chanteligence at the same time as your design questionnaire.

Copyright

We make no guarantee to any individual or organization related to copyright infringement stemming from copy provided for their project.
At Chanteligence we take the copy provided to us by our clients for their projects & use it at their direction for their project, whether it be branding, website copy, or other.

If we are contacted by the originating individual or organization in the case of plagiarism & an unresponsive client whose site we host, we will contact the client with the information & inform them of the infraction & the request of the copy owner. If necessary, we may be forced to take steps to remove the copy to ensure that we comply with any pertinent laws.

Design Credit

The client allows Chanteligence to display any projects on their own website and any social media platforms and portfolio’s for self promotion purposes. The client also agrees to allow Chanteligence to credit design work on all websites designed by Chanteligence unless stated otherwise.

Approval

Approval is required for all projects, via email prior to work being released/finalised. Whilst all care is taken by Chanteligence, Chanteligence is not responsible for any spelling, grammatical, numerical errors or omissions after final approval. Even if these errors are from Chanteligence, it is the client’s responsibility to proof read and check thoroughly their projects to identify any errors prior to final approvals.

Images

Some designs may contain stock images that are available for purchase. Any images supplied by the client must be provided in high resolution and preferably in CMYK. Chanteligence is not responsible for colour variations in conversion from RGB to process CMYK. Chanteligence is not responsible for the reproduction quality of supplied images.

Colour Matching & Printing

Whilst all care is taken, Chanteligence does not take responsibility for client supplied artwork that does not print properly. Please note that colour on projects can vary from screen to final product. Screen proofing is not indicative of final printed piece. Printed colours can vary from printer to printer, job to job, run to run, or even front to back, due to the nature of the CMYK printing process. Trimming can also vary from printer to printer.

Confidentiality

All correspondence between you and Mint Design Collective is confidential and is not to be shared with others without Mint Design Collective’s written consent.
Chanteligence will not share or sell your information under any circumstances. Once the design process is complete we recommend changing your login passwords.

Refunds & Cancellations

If you would like to cancel your order, please note that your refund will be less 50% of the total price paid.
This fee is to cover the design time spent on creating initial concepts, based on the design brief you submitted.

Communication

All communication is completed via email so there is no miscommunication regarding your design project.
Please note, responses may be delayed from time to time, depending on the volume of enquiries and design projects.

Turn Around Times

When you place your order for any of our services, Chanteligence will schedule your project in accordance with their existing projects. The date your project is scheduled is when your project will commence. Delays can occur if responses are lengthy or if multiple revisions are required. Please remember a unique design takes time, this may mean a design may take longer than our turnaround time guidelines. Your patience during this process is appreciated.

Website Design

Chanteligence will design your main website templates. You will be required to supply copy and images unless otherwise agreed.
If you would like Chanteligence to design graphics or supply images for the content of your website, please contact us direct for a quote.
